Rainbow celebrates Christmas and New Year before the December
holidays. It falls on a Friday, begins at 9 am, and lasts about one
and a half hours. Elves, Butterflies and Dragonflies perform on
stage for about 45 minutes. Santa Claus appears and distributes
presents to the children. Then the children have a collective feast
in the company of their parents. The crafts of the children are
displayed for the pride of their parents who may collect them. Half
yearly photos show the progress of the children. The party is
generally free. The parents are requested to bring some sweets,
sweetbreads, etc. for a potluck. The school provides the drinks. A
video recording is done by the school.
